By now, I’m sure you’ve heard of Temu. Whether you have seen an ad pop up on Facebook or seen a Temu haul (ooh, those are so fun!!), most of us have heard of this company. I will admit, when I first heard how incredibly cheap and affordable their items were, I was very skeptical. Out of curiosity, I downloaded the app and decided to check it out for myself.

Let me start by saying, their site is very fun to shop on! After looking around for a few minutes, I was hooked. I couldn’t believe the variety of items they had and how I saw several items that I knew I needed! With such a low price tag, I was able to purchase several items with my $3 off $29 and free shipping.
I was pretty excited that I had snagged some cool Temu finds and I couldn’t wait to receive my items. Temu provided me with an anticipated delivery date, which was pretty nice. They took it a step further and even promised a $5 credit if I didn’t receive my package by the expected date.
If you’ve made it this far, you are probably wondering how I was able to save even more money shopping Temu when prices are already so low!! Well, my friend, I am going to share my secret because I feel like we all should be able to save money (I mean, who wouldn’t want to? Especially when the prices of everything keep going up).
How to save even more money shopping on Temu
The first thing you are going to want to do is download Rakuten. Hopefully, you are already a Rakuten user and already know about their fabulous cash-back perks that have on nearly anything and everything that you buy online. If you aren’t a Rakuten user, no worries! Simply click on this link and sign up now. Once you have downloaded Rakuten and signed up, simply go into the app and search Temu. Click on the Temu icon and it will redirect you to Temu. This is where you will want to do your shopping! If you shop through the Rakuten app at Temu, they are currently offering 13% back on your total amount spent!!
Now, if you know anything about me, then you know how I am always trying to find new ways to stretch my money and get more bang for my buck. I have taken this a step further and earned even more money back.
What I always do when shopping online is this: I will only use a credit card that offers me cash back on my purchases. Not only am I protected while shopping online, but I am also saving money as well.
Okay, now let’s break this down. Let’s just say that I just placed an order on Temu and spent $100. I made sure that I opened the Rakuten app first and then clicked on the Temu icon there, So, I am automatically saving 13% (in the form of cashback). Then, I paid for my order with a credit card that gave me 2% cash back.
I will have saved $13 on my Temu order plus an additional $2 from using the credit card that offers cash back. So, in all actuality, that is a savings of $15 on a $100 order! That’s a definite win in my book!
I have ordered from Temu several times and have never had any issues. I have always received my packages by the promised date and I feel like a kid on Christmas morning ripping that package open and going through all my goodies!
